Hello...I have been waiting for you to put these up again. I am so glad you did. If you drop comments, or drop the blog, then "they" have won. I write a blog also, and while we have a very different focus in our day to day life, we are both writing from our heart and that is wonderful.

I have what we call a "troll" who tries to innundate with evil and vitriolic comments...and I had thoughts of stopping my blog. But you know what? Why should I let him/her have the satisfaction of shutting down my creative outlet?

Anyway, you have a great blog and it is such an interesting story how I found it (a write-up in a Baltimore magazine the ONE week I was there, moving my other half there for a yearlong fellowship)...

I enjoy it and you are a great and funny writer.

(Remember you can "ban" a jerk from commenting and let the rest continue).

And can't you ban anonymous comments?

I agree with julien, you can't let a troll ruin the spirit of the blog! I think you should put up said redneck comment --mainly because I missed it and it sounds like the juciest thing on the blog since the Reborner riots of '04-- but it's the nature of the art form and forum (if you want it to serve as a historial document, anyway, I guess. I've decided to move my personal 'diary' blog and make my old blog a blog performance-art space).
